Star Wars Crawl..

It is a period of civil wars in the galaxy. A brave alliance of underground freedom fighters has challenged the tyranny and oppression of the awesome GALACTIC EMPIRE.

Striking from their bases hidden among the billion stars of the galaxy, rebel spaceships had five years prior engaged a powerful Imperial Starfleet in the Yavin system in battle. The EMPIRE though not defeated, suffered a notable delay in their then planned expansion.

The whispers in the canteens and bars across the edge of the galaxy talk of a rebellion attack fleet managing to destroyed or badly damaged a new experimental weapon to the Empire. While some speak of Star Destroyers near cut in two, then adrift in space. What is knowns, is now the Yavin system sits quarantined and the planet of Alderman is gone. Tramp Freights, smugglers and galactic cargo haulers, report a huge asteroid field being all that remains.

For the ordinary folks of the Galaxy it is a dark time. Though the Galactic Empires plans for expansion seemed to have been halted five years ago. Many now struggle to find work, food and shelter. Often turning to crime and smugglings to make ends meet.

In these dark times, the first signs in 5 years are being seen and that Empire may have recovered.

Two new fleets gather in Coruscant system and the repaired Intimidator has slipped her moorings above Gyndine and left the Kuat Drive Repair Facility there. Her destination unknown.

The rebellion are quiet, the Empire Stirs and many just struggle to survive. But is the flame of rebellion truly dead or do they begin to smoulder once more!
